2391 “pause” – at end of the session… fell short in the House:

Senate –   S Sub for HB2391, AN ACT concerning education; creating the joint committee on uniform educational standards oversight; amending K.S.A. 2012 Supp. 72-6439 and 72-7535 and repealing the existing sections.    On roll call, the vote was: Yeas 24; Nays 12; Present and Passing 1; Absent or Not Voting 3.

    • This is definitely going to be an election issue. We are hoping some of the Nays have changed their mind for this legislative session, but if they have not and their constituents don’t like the way the vote, they know what to do at election time.
